When I play with Kenton I am always enjoying the energy and the ephemeral beauty of our musical encounters, plus Kenton’s ability to dialogue and commit with me to wander into unpredictable sonic paths. Beyond that I simply aspire to be speechless, without the urgency of communicating anything. If I “express” anything at all, that is pure character, essence more than intentionality.
